Bacon Lardons

Makin'  Bacon!

In our house, we always keep some bacon in the freezer so we can make bacon lardons whenever needed.  Freezing the bacon is great because you can always cut off only the amount that you need, and you can easily cut that chunk into strips

Ingredients:

- 1 pack of bacon

Instructions


Freeze the package of bacon. When you need some bacon, unwrap the package, and chop off the desired amount from one side of the bacon strips. Place remainder back in the freezer in a sealed bag. Chop piece into 1/4 inch strips.  Place strips in pan, and break apart with spoon while they cook. Fry until crispy, scoop out with a slotted spoon onto a plate lined with paper towel.
